we can see rain coming up in virginia. a lot of this leading edge of precipitation is not hitting the ground just yet. the air is pretty dry. so i think we'll get through a bulk of the morning ok. but if you're going to the game this afternoon, you might run into a couple of rain showers. it's not going to be heavy rain but still some rain showers later today. all this being triggered by a stalled front to the south. we've got warm air riding up over the top of this front and there's some cool air trying to work its way in and those two things combined usually produce some rain showers. that will be the case today. so mostly cloudy skies, the chance for a few rain showers later this morning and this afternoon. the high temperatures between 71 and 76. if you're going to the game, we'll say a chance for rain showers. i don't think it's going to be raining the whole game but certainly some rain is possible at one point or another so plan on that. the temperature about 72 degrees downtown at 1:00. overnight tonight, mostly clo
